“Most of the time it hits late at night, a thought that has been stirring for hours or even years, but never articulated. Singing and speaking exist in two separate brain circuits, so I like to think I am singing the emotions that can’t be spoken”
Wild Promises have been described as a ‘stop-you-in-your-tracks’ kind of band, and this becomes apparent when you see and hear their soaring choruses and delicate musicianship in the flesh.
Under the watchful eye of Producer Karl Odlum, the band have created a set of songs that wears its heart on its sleeve, and offers a window into their own ideal dream-pop world which is almost completed after sessions in the legendary Grouse Lodge studios

Pockets played their first gig in December 2013. After their first performance they went on to support ‘And So I Watch You From Afar’ and play Whelan’s ‘Ones to Watch’ festival for 2014 within three weeks of their first show. Since then they have played a number of select shows in Galway and Dublin. Their first collection of songs ‘Raison D’Être’ was released on 19th of November. The EP was voted ‘The Last Mixed Tape Readers EP of the Year’.
“This dark folk rock four piece have been garnering a lot of attention as of late with the release of their debut EP ‘Raison D’Être’. They are fresh and provide an interesting alternative to the music found in our scene, no one quite sounds like them. They were recently selected for State.ie’s ‘Faces of 2015′ and are bound to have some plans for 2015″ – Pleasing Features
