KRANK is a collective of DJs, designers, and performance artists led by NYC/London DJ star Larry Tee (TZUJI designer). They create parties in Berlin and beyond that pushes the edge of club life but delivers great music and friendly vibe. The legendary club SCHWUZ has invited KRANK to do an edition at their electronic music focus night 'donnerstag Thursdays' on August 17th. Focusing on the music for this spacial night, their guests include DJ VIVA RUIZ (DFA Records, Crystal Ark), Larry Tee (wrote Rupaul's Supermodel, 'Party Monster' club master, 'electroclash, and hits with Princess Superstar, Afrojack, Santigold), and DJ Dickie (Berlin, Vancouver, remixer for REM, Peaches). Larry Tee rotated weekly with Frankie Knuckles at the ROXY New York, wrote Supermodel, (You better work) with Rupaul, c0-created the club made famous in the movie Party Monster, created the ELECTROCLASH festivals and had #1 dance hits with Rupaul, Princess Superstar, Afrojack, Santigold, Amanda LePore and Shontelle. KRANK previous events have featured Trans legend Amanda LePore, Aerea Negrot from Hercules Love Affair, Gegen Dj mastermind Francisco, Australia's Poof Doof party, DJ/producer ABSOLUTE London (remixer Sia, Roisin Murphy, Iggy Azaelia). Larry now also designs TZUJI which makes clothes worn by Rihanna, Missy Elliott, Kid Ink, MNEK, Kiesza and Sean Kingston amongst the many.
