Kidsail is a fun week of games, fancy dress and sailing instruction for children aged from 8 to 16 years. The program is designed to be both fun and challenging, and involves lots of on water and off water activities, with a dedicated coach for every 3 children. You will learn the basics of sailing in a safe environment with your coach, and will learn about important stuff like how to stay warm, capsizing, wind directions, lots of special sailing terms, and you will either be part of the time honored Navy team, or the naughty Pirates.
The course runs for 4 full days from 2/1 - 6/1 (the extra day is a reserve day for weather contingencies), is fully catered and we end the week with a big race and an awards lunch with lots of great prizes. Kidsail always fills up, so get in early and reserve your spot.
