Our style of Tae Kwon Do, often referred to as traditional Tae Kwon Do, focuses on the martial art. Our classes are specifically aimed at personal development, self-defence, health and fitness. While Tae Kwon Do emphasises the leg's greater reach and power you are also taught free sparring & fighting skills, hand strikes, stretching, patterns, throws, sweeps (take-downs), wrist & joint locks combined with the practical application of self defence. Beginners are always welcome and you do not need any special equipment or skill to start learning Tae Kwon Do.
