JG & THE ULTIMATES

JG & the Ultimates are a rockin' rhythm & blues band formed and fronted by guitarist, Jay Gipson.
Jay has been playing for 30 years in a variety of bands and has performed live at Viva Las Vegas, The Atomic Festival, Twinwood, Secret Garden Party & many other shows & clubs in the UK & across Europe.
Through playing at many vintage events Jay discovered a passion for playing for dancers and vintage enthusiasts. The Ultimates are immersed in the retro sounds of the 50's with a strong leaning towards the bluesy side of rock & roll, jump blues & R&B.

The band comprises of seasoned musicians who also have played & play for a well known artists including Mike Sanchez, The Glen Miller Orchestra, Laura B, The Drugstore Cowboys, Si Cranstoun, Wes Weston, Ray Gelato, Jools Holland Orchestra, JD McPherson, The Bobbettes, & Barrence Whitfield.

It's gonna be an awesome night of rockin' rhythms, so get ready for an "Ultimate" night of jumpin', jivin' & swingin'!
