Do we here at Jokes Please! have womb envy? Womb curiosity sure, but not envy. We do have pool-in-the-living room envy though. BIG TIME!
Having your baby in your home is the natural way: directly into water held by a cheap, plastic pool that you throw into the trash immediately after, grossing out your whole apartment.
Why have a baby in YOUR home when you can have all of the weird smugness and none of the mess by having your baby in someone else’s home? When you feel the medically agreed upon/magic combination of contractions, dilation and water breakage then quickly invite yourself over to your bestie’s place for tea and don’t forget to PACK YOUR POOL! You can't reasonably assume you can use their living room pool so bring your own and then it’s PLACENTA POOL PARTY TIME! And tell your friend to BOIL SOME WATER because, I don’t know, old timey reasons. Also, fire up those social media accounts: you’ve got some serious oversharing to do!
