Once upon a time, Sydney boy Shane Jenek tried out for Australian Idol. Not quite making the cut he wasn’t discouraged, Shane bent the rules and his gender, returning the next day as Courtney Act, and made it through to the finals. Courtney’s explosive, energetic performing style, coupled with her joyous personality, sent audiences wild and Australia had a new, slightly less conventional, sweetheart. Hot on the high heels of the TV series came the phenomenally successful national arena tour and a record deal with Sony/BMG. Then, the news came that Courtney would be a contestant on RuPaul's Drag Race and her fame shot through the roof in The States. Making it all the way to the top three, Courtney won the hearts of millions for her beauty, talent, and unbelievable outfits….Join us in welcoming the gorgeous and talented Courtney Act!
We are selling MEET & GREET & SEAT tickets to see Courtney. For $20, you get admission for the night, you gain access to a pre-show, exclusive meet and greet from 9-10pm, and have the first chance to get seats for the show before the doors open to the general public. (With these tickets, in order to get seats, you MUST arrive before 10pm when the doors open to the general public!) To buy these limited tickets, go to the ticket link in the info section.
Without tickets, there will most likely be long lines to get in for the show....please arrive early to have the best chance at getting in!
Also, on the same night, Town is welcoming CTRL, one of DC's favorite dance parties to our second floor...so, there will be A LOT happening on this night...bring your A-Game gurls!
