Party: E-Learning - Induction for Various Courses

Special Stars Foundation are thrilled to be able to facilitate FREE e-learning on a variety of topics for parent carers or anyone working with a person with a disability

Available courses:
-Understanding Autism
-Challenging Behaviour
-Working With Individuals With Learning Disabilities
-Dignity and Safeguarding
-Equality and Diversity
-Mental Health Problems
-Safe Handling of Medication
-Understanding Specific Learning Disabilities

Each course is around 9-10 weeks long and can be done at home at a time to suit you (or parent carers can use our FREE computer during office hours at Special Stars Foundation to complete training)

To qualify for this free training you MUST:
-Be 19 or over
-Have been a permenant resident of the UK for the last 3 years
-Be able to attend a 1.5 hour induction at 10:30am at Special Stars Foundation offices in central Hull on 18th Jan 2018
-Be a parent carer of a disabled person or working with people with disabilities in the region (this could be school staff, care worker, charity volunteer etc, for questions about this please call 01482 227657 or email [email protected])
-You can only do one course at a time, there will be opportunities for other courses throughour the year
-Able to provide one form of photo ID (passport, driving licence etc)
