Steve & The Achievers play vintage dance music with one thing in mind – good times!

A love of Upbeat Blues, Southern Soul, Rhythm & Blues and Roots music have brought us together in the hope that we can play the music that we love for folks who want to have a good time.

There are songs that audiences will know and some they might not – all chosen and played because they have a solid groove for dancing and a positive message. Popular classics, choice soul selections, forgotten gems from defunct record labels, obscure 1940s jump-blues tracks and bawdy swing numbers with thinly veiled references to ‘relations’. There’s a bit of country rock, and a bit of Ska too - Something for everyone…probably!
