Party: Craig Teatime presents HOMO HOMAGE to DUSTY SPRINGFIELD

"Quiet please, there's a woman up there,
And she's been honest through her songs,
Long before your consciousness was raised,
Doesn't that deserve a little praise..."

Lyrics: Quiet Please, There's A Lady On Stage Dusty Springfield.

Dusty was born Mary Isobel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien 16 April 1939 in West Hampstead, England. She is arguably one of the greatest ever Pop singers to have emerged from England and had a dazzling musical career which which spanned over four decades from the 50s, 60s, 70s and the 80s.

She as a powerhouse of blue eyed soul, and was instrumental in debuting a number of important Motown acts across the Atlantic, and popularising their music in England.
