You will be the first one to know when pictures are uploaded!
Listen to music by local bands and acts, join us at the acoustic stage or get raving at the DJ arena. During the day student circus society Fever will show off their talent and you can even join in to learn some skills yourself! Pole Fitness and LSU Break Dance will be taking care of the dance performances for the day, with a guest appearance by the Nottingham Portland Underground Pandas for a chilled out break dance jam in the sun. Add to this a charity beer and cider festival, a student art sale and a vintage fair and there’s no need to spend the day anywhere else than at the LSU.
LSU FEVER is the University’s very own circus society; they are the people playing with fire or walking around on stilts. But they also specialise in a range of other circus skills including juggling, spinning and unicycling. And for Freefest they want to share their skills with you. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to balance a club on your nose or finally nail that three ball juggling, then come and have a play with Fever!
LSU Break Dance is a chilled out, laid back society with an all-inclusive policy. As a very racially diverse group they enjoy meeting and dancing with people from other cultures. And while training to master very difficult moves and sets can be very tiring, they have a lot of fun as well since all members are best friends within the society. Interested to join? You don't have to have ever danced to learn to break dance and your first session is always free!
The Pole Fitness society not only trains pole fitness, but also strength, flexibility and flow in order to create routines and improve constantly in their sport. They’re a friendly and welcoming society and welcome anybody who shares their passion. Every member of Pole Fitness is very unique with just one simple thing in common – they all love to pole!
This event is just the start of a weeklong of amazing activities, so please have a look at the full programme and we hope you’ll join us for more events this week.
