EUROPEAN TOUR 2014
Bringing together a unique blend of Reggae, Soul and Blues, Riders Connection has flourished in the Berlin music scene.
The music evolved on the streets of Berlin, using minimal instruments to create deep and soulful melodies. The union of the acoustic guitar with the natural sounds of the mouth trumpet and beatboxing give Riders Connection a uniquely rich sound.
With the flow of time, the bass was incorporated and the music matured to resonate with a widely varying audience. Listeners are uplifted and unified around the fusion of warm melodies and the deep and soulful lyricism. Whether by the ocean or in the heart of the city, Riders Connection never fails to provide a magical musical experience.
Riders Connection believe in using the body to make instruments that can’t actually be seen. Hence the slogan - NATURAL SOUND SYSTEM.
Without a drumkit the band rests on the extremely talented beatboxer to provide the rhythm and flow to their music. He is able to produce unique funky beats with his mouth. Ranging from genres such as Hip Hop, Drum and Bass and Techno; he even imitates the native Australian instrument “Didgeridoo” and combine it into his beats.
The lead singer has an extremely special voice which seeps deep inside your mind and heart. By changing his voice pitch and singing style he is able to create different on-stage personalities, allowing for a rich and varied listening experience. His talent extends to an vocal imitation of a live trumpet, which is often mistaken for the real instrument. This, along with the incredible beatboxing and sublime bass, gives the band its natural sounding individuality. People leave a Riders Connection concert with a feeling of great satisfaction: the band and their music creates a unity and bond amongst the audience.
