One of Australia’s most successful and loved country music bands, the Adam Eckersley Band achieved critical support for their debut album The First Album. It reached #1 on the iTunes Country Album chart and peaked at #5 on the ARIA Country chart. The single Give Her The World took out first prize in the country section at the prestigious 2014 International Song Writing Competition. 2015 saw them claim their first Golden Guitar for Best New Talent at the 2015’s CMAA Awards in Tamworth. The Second Album was released in August 2015 and received rave reviews and commercial radio play for their single Wheels.
Veterans of three Tamworth Festivals, 2 CMAA Golden Guitars, CMC Rocks, Gympie Muster and numerous other performances, The Adam Eckersley Band are on their way to being recognised as one of Australia’s favourite country-rock bands of our time.
Preparation for album three is underway with another songwriting trip to Nashville this June.
Adam Eckersley Band is Adam Eckersley (vocals, guitar), Scotty Greenaway (bass), Benny Elliot (drums), “Arizona” Dan Biederman (keyboards, Hammond, Wurlitzer) and Duncan Toombs (guitar, vocal).
