Part two only promises to be as good if not better than the first show
THE TIME FREQUENCY (TTF) –Return of Scotland's biggest dance act TTF have sold over 2.5 million records making them one of the biggest dance acts to ever come out of the UK. Not only have they had 7 number ones and 14 top 5 singles, incredibly their hit record “Real Love” entered the charts top five 3 times and achieved a massive number one status twice. The Band has toured with the likes of prince and the prodigy. TTF has promised that 2014 they will release their follow up album to dominator two, which has created a massive hype that has taken the Scottish dance scene by storm.
GEORGE BOWIE (GBX Anthems) – George Bowie needs no introduction to the Scottish clubber as he hosts the biggest radio show on clyde one every Saturday. He is renowned for his massive DJ performance which has seen him play along massive names like the ones we have for you at the second legends show.
ULTRA-SONIC - Ultra-Sonic formed in the early 90s and became of Scotland’s most successful dance acts. From 1991-1998 Ultra-Sonic released 14 singles, 4 studio albums, 1 live album and 2 full length tour videos. Their albums sold over 50,000 copies in the UK alone (with pre-sale orders at 30,000) and around 400,000 in combined singles and albums in just under three years. They disbanded in the late 90s. Mallorca Lee continued producing under other various artist names including joining Public Domain for their most successful years. He will be playing a very special Ultra-sonic DJ Set, which will be filled with all their hits from back in the day.
Q-TEX - The Scottish techno/dance duo Q-Tex originally formed in 1991, with their career initially guided by DJ/producer Scott Brown. The group has enjoyed numerous hits in their homeland, having also performed in such countries as Australia, Holland, and Germany. Q-Tex's long full-length album was 1997's Into the Light, while issuing such singles as "Let the Love," "Equazion," "Power of Love," "Lies," and "Falling to the Earth," among others.
Scott Brown - DJ Scott Brown is a Glasgow born superstar DJ and music producer. He was heavily involved in the evolution of the UK's hardcore techno scene from the early 1990s, in particular introducing the harder-edged sounds of Belgian and Dutch techno to the UK, and taking the Scottish sounds to Europe
Jon Mancini (Colours/Streetrave) - When it comes to house music in Scotland, there is no other DJ that holds the legend status more than Jon Mancini. Having been an integral part of the way the dance music scene is today in Scotland, it was clear right from the beginning that the future was always going to bright for Jon Mancini. He started in DJ’ing in 1988 just as the rave culture was starting to blossom and a year later he became resident DJ for the legendary night called STREETrave (which then went on to become Colours). From memorable parties in venues such as Ayr Pavilion and Prestwick Airport, Jon Mancini is a name that’s synonymous with raving memories from days gone by.
DJ Joe Deacon is remembered for being the mastermind behind the infamous venue The Metro in Saltcoats as well as some of Scotland's other massive dance events. Joe is happy to be returning to Ayrshire for another.
DJ Billy Reid another legend of the Ayrshire scene Billy is one of the orignal pioneers so we had to add him. You will remember Billy from playing at the Metro Saltcoats
