A bit about the entertainment

Mick Meredith
Mick Meredith is one of Australia’s most in-demand comedians and one of the countries leading musical comedy acts with appearances all over Australia and internationally from PNG to Egypt.
Mick has appeared on film, TV and radio including The Footy Show, The Today show, Mornings with Kerri Ann, Thursday Night Live, Joker Poker, The comedy channel, Stand-up Australia, Triple M, The Sydney Cracker Festival Gala, Darren Sanders Show and feature films Bloody Hell and Footy Legends, As well as LG, Picnic, nicorette, KFC and aapt commercials, a top selling comedy CD Mid Laugh Crisis and featured comedian on the nrl footy shows best of the comedians DVDs 1 and 2.
Three tours with the Australian armed forces to the Middle East and East Timor have been the highlight of Micks near two-decade career.

Andrew Barnett
Andrew’s Comedy career began with a bang in 2010 when he made the NSW State Final of Raw Comedy. Since then Andrew has become a fixture of the Sydney comedy scene and a regular host at the Sydney Comedy Store.

Andrew has worked with comedians from across Australia and the world and has opened for some of the finest International acts to visit Australia including Dom Irrera (USA) and Ian Bagg (Can). In 2013 Andrew was invited by Australian Rock icons the Hoodoo Gurus to host the Comedy Stage at the Sydney leg of their invitational music festival 'Rip it Up'. Andrew has a relaxed, affable style which makes him a crowd favourite wherever he performs.


Steve Philp
Steve Philp is Sydney based Stand up Comedian originally from Newcastle who tells jokes on stages all over Australia and before TV show's such as Ready Steady Cook, The NRL Footy Show, and Better Homes and Gardens.

Watching Steve Philp perform is like watching an episode of 80’s TV show “ It’s A Knockout” except he assures us no-one will get hurt!! Actor, Comedian and Former Radio Announcer Steve has adapted to most things his parole officer has given him.

Starting out on an acting career Steve starred in kid’s stage show’s such as “ Barney the Dinosaur” and “ Blinky Bill” as well as working with The Wiggles on “ The Dorothy the Dinosaur show” and quickly found kids to be on his level of intelligence.

Steve then moved into Stand-Up Comedy and made the finals of Competitions such as Triple J Raw and Green Faces and then quickly moved on the road touring the country for the last 8 years with Comedians such as Carl Barron, The Umbilical Brothers, Adam Hills and a number of international acts such as Arj Barker and Tom Green. This immense touring enabled Steve to work in sold out venue’s such as The Sydney Opera House and The Enmore theatre. During this time Steve moved into radio co-writing and co-hosting an ACRA award nominated Saturday morning Breakfast show “ Kennedy and Philp” on Nova 969 (Sydney) for 5 years which allowed Steve to interview and work with stars such as Jack Black, Ron Moss, as well as filling in for Merrick And Rosso on weekday breakfast for 5 weeks over the Christmas period. Steve also became active as an MC and has hosted the afternoon session of Tropfest for the past 5 years.
